Why OnTime Bookings

Built for driving instructors, to grow their business

A marketplace grows its business on your lessons. OnTime Bookings grows yours: your own branded booking site, lesson times that fit where you drive, unlimited SMS from your number, and 0% commission. We set it all up for you.

Five reasons

What you get that a general booking tool can't give you

Each of these is something we built because instructors asked for it. Every one links to the detail, so you can check it.

Your brand, all the way through

Your name, logo and colours on the site, the booking, the checkout and the student login. Not a listing beside every other instructor in town.

Plenty of “white-label” tools look like yours until the student reaches the cart, then hand them to a platform-branded app and login. Here the whole journey stays on your brand.

Your branded booking site →

Other “white-label” tools

Discover→ Browse handed to platform app Cart & checkout→ Login to platform→ After

Your storefront looks branded, but the moment they pay they're the platform's customer, on the platform's login.

OnTime Bookings

Discover→ Book→ Pay→ Login→ Lessons→ After

One brand the whole way, checkout and login included. They're your customer, start to finish.

It knows you drive to your students

A salon tool thinks every appointment happens in the same chair. OnTime Bookings only offers times near lessons you already have, on the days you cover that suburb, for the services you run that day. Same teaching hours, less unpaid driving.

Three controls, set once

  • Travel-optimised bookingsA student in Blacktown is offered the slot after your Blacktown lesson, not the one across town.
  • Your suburbs by dayInner west on Mondays, the Hills on Thursdays. Students only see the days you're in their area.
  • Your services by dayTest-day packages on Tuesdays and Fridays only? Set it, and that's all that's offered.

Every lesson stays yours to keep

0% commission at any volume, one flat monthly price, and unlimited SMS included. Take card, cash, PayID or bank transfer, hold deposits, sell packages, and see who still owes you at a glance.

$59 a month covers you and one other instructor. The only add-ons go to someone else: a domain registrar fee if you want your own web address, and Stripe's fee on card payments only.

It runs the evening shift for you

The booking that comes in at 9pm on a Sunday drops straight into your diary. The reminder goes out the night before, from your own mobile, with replies coming back to you. Students reschedule themselves inside the rules you set.

We set it up, and we're here

Tell us about your school and we build and write the site for you. Most instructors are taking bookings the next day. Hosted in an Australian data centre, supported in your timezone, by the people who built it.

In practice

The same week, run two ways

Nothing changes about how you teach. What changes is everything around it.

Before

With OnTime Bookings

Is it for you?

Is OnTime Bookings right for you?

Four quick questions. If the answer is no, we'll say so.

Are you a driving instructor, or do you run a driving school?

Do you want to build your own business, rather than work under someone else's name?

Do you want your students to book, pay and get reminded without ringing you?

Would you rather spend your time teaching and growing the school than dealing with developers and website upkeep?

Straight answers

Things instructors ask before they switch

No. OnTime Bookings runs beside whatever else you’re doing. Keep the marketplace on quiet weeks and run your own bookings alongside.

Your brand is what they deal with throughout. The site, the booking, the checkout and the student login all carry your name, logo and colours.

We do. You tell us about your school, we build and write the site, and most instructors are taking bookings the next day.

Yes. The plan price is the price — everything’s included, right down to unlimited SMS, with no extra OnTime Bookings fees and nothing hidden. The only costs that ever sit on top go to someone else, and only if you choose them: a custom domain (a small yearly fee to a domain registrar, if you want your own web address), and Stripe’s standard transaction fee (only if you switch on card payments — cash, PayID and bank transfer don’t have one).

You can keep it and link to your OnTime booking site from it. That said, we recommend moving your website over to OnTime Bookings, so students get one seamless experience from the first click to the booking, and you have one thing to look after instead of two. There’s no extra cost: the site build, hosting and updates are all included.

It’s yours. It sits in your own account, not pooled with other schools, and you can export it.
