Solo vs Multi
Every feature is on both plans. Multi adds the three things you only need once you’re paying other people to teach.
Set what each instructor earns - a percentage, a flat rate per lesson, or different rates for different lesson types.
Every booking they take is costed as it happens, so you always know what you owe.
A recipient-created tax invoice is one you raise on behalf of your contractor, instead of waiting for them to send you one.
OnTime Bookings generates them from the lessons already in the system, so payday is a review rather than a chase.
Reminders go out from the mobile the student already has saved, not a shared school number - so replies land with the right instructor. No per-number or per-message charge.
45 days free to start with no credit card, then it depends on your team. Solo Operator is $59 a month (standard $79) and covers two instructors, with a one-off $149 onboarding fee — normally $499. Multi Operator is $59 a month for your first instructor (standard $79) plus $29 a month for each one after that, with onboarding from $499. Both include unlimited SMS and 0% commission.
Anyone who takes bookings on your calendar — whether they’re an employee, a contractor, or you. Office staff who manage bookings but don’t teach don’t count, and don’t cost anything.
Every feature is on both plans. Multi adds three things you only need once you’re paying other people to teach: instructor commission and pay rates, instructor RCTI, and SMS reminders sent from each instructor’s own mobile number at no extra cost. If you’re not paying instructors, Solo is the right plan — and the cheaper one.
You move to Multi. At three instructors that’s $59 for the first plus $29 each for the other two — $117 a month. You keep your promotional rate on the first instructor, and you pick up commission, RCTI and per-instructor SMS numbers, which is usually what you need by the time you’ve got a third person teaching. Nothing about your bookings, students or site changes.
We build and write your site for you — your pages, your copy, your booking flow, your lesson packages, all set up and working before you go live. It’s a one-off, not a subscription. On Solo it’s $149 during the promotion (normally $499). On Multi it starts at $499 because there’s more to set up: every instructor, their availability, their pay rates and their SMS numbers. We’ll quote you on the demo so there’s no surprise.
No. Our price climbs as we grow — founding members paid $39, it’s $59 now, and it goes to $79 once the promotional spots are taken — but that only applies to schools joining after you. The rate you sign up on is your rate for as long as you’re with us. The $29 per additional instructor on Multi is the same at every step and doesn’t change either.
Yes. The plan price is the price — everything’s included, right down to unlimited SMS, with no extra OnTime Bookings fees and nothing hidden. The only costs that ever sit on top go to someone else, and only if you choose them: a custom domain (a small yearly fee to a domain registrar, if you want your own web address), and Stripe’s standard transaction fee (only if you switch on card payments — cash, PayID and bank transfer don’t have one).
Yes – 30 days, risk free.The 30 day timeframe gives you enough time to get onboarded, trained, and set up properly: your services, your availability, your pricing, your packages. We are confident that by the end of the 30 days trial, you are already taking live bookings!
For any reasons, if OnTime Bookings doesnt fit your need then either we can make a plan to implement missing features or you can cancel the subscription without paying a cent.
No. A flat monthly fee is the whole arrangement — 0% commission, at any volume.
Card payments get processed through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to your bank without passing through us. (Stripe’s standard processing fee applies, as it would anywhere.) Cash, PayID and bank transfer don’t involve us at all.
We’d rather you grew. A percentage quietly punishes a good month — the better you get, the more it takes. A flat fee doesn’t move.
Yes. Your site can run on your own domain, like www.your-school.com.au, with no shared platform address and nobody else’s name in front of yours.
There’s a full website builder behind it too, not just a booking page: build and edit your own pages, with SEO tools built in so you stand a chance of being found when someone searches for driving lessons in your suburb. Don’t want to build it yourself? We write and build the site for you as part of onboarding.
Already have a website you like? you can keep it too, and embed the booking widget into it instead.
No lock-in contract. our arrangement is month to month, and you can cancel any time.
We’d rather earn next month than trap you into it. If the platform ever stops being worth the fee, staying should be your decision – not a clause you signed twelve months ago. We are confident that you will never leave us though!
No – no per-message charge, no cap, no bundle to top up. SMS and email reminders are unlimited and included in every plan. Most reminder tools bill per text, so their bill grows every time your school does. Ours doesn’t.
Reminders also get sent from your own verified mobile number at no extra cost, so when a student texts back it lands in your mobile rather than a seperate app to keep an eye on! If you have multiple instructors, each instructor can use their own number, so replies reach whoever is teaching the lesson.
It is your data, and it leaves with you. We will hand over your customers, orders, bookings and voucher records as CSV files – a standard format that opens in Excel or Google Sheets and imports into whatever you move to next.
Your students were never pooled into a shared marketplace or cross-marketed to in the first place, because the system runs under your brand, not ours. Leaving means taking your records with you.
No. Take as many bookings as you can teach – the price doesn’t move.
Plans scale on how many instructors you run, not on how much work you do, so there’s no volume tier to trip over and no surprise on the bill after a busy month. The thousandth booking of the month costs exactly what the first one did: nothing.
From us, no ongoing fees. The plan price covers every feature, unlimited SMS, Website hosting (if you choose to host with us) and support, with nothing hidden underneath it.
The only ongoing costs sit with third parties, and only if you choose them:
Domain registration – a small yearly fee to a domain registrar, if you want your own web address (e.g., www.your-drivingschool.com.au ). Your OnTime Bookings subdomain (e.g., yourdrivingschool.ontimebookigns.com.au) is free. Stripe’s transaction fee – only if you take card payments online. Cash, PayID and bank transfer don’t have any additional cost.Website hosting – only if you choose a third-party hosting. Host with us and there’s no charge.SEO and marketing – only if you opt in. OnTime Bookings isn’t a lead generation platform. The site is yours and marketing is up to you. We do offer SEO and digital marketing as a separate service if you ever want a hand with it.
